Going into the story, Mythri Movie Makers are quoting a bomb for the overseas rights of Pushpa and their financial demand is leaving potential buyers perplexed.
Mythri are asking for $2.7 million for the overseas rights of Pushpa(All languages). To put that into perspective, the film will have to collect more than $3 million(Rs 22 crores) to break-even. And that is not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination, given the current situation pertaining to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Mythri Movie Makers are hoping to recover a chunk of their investment by selling off the overseas rights haven’t yet found an overseas distributor who is ready to match their asking price.
The Sukumar directorial will be hitting the theatres on 13th of August. Allu Arjun plays a lorry cleaner in the rustic action thriller and Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead.
