Pushpa: Sukumar picks real locations over sets

Sukumar is very eager to get his upcoming project Pushpa onto the floors. He spent over a year on the film but owing to Covid-19 outbreak, the film is yet to commence shoot in a full-fledged manner.

Now, both Sukumar and Allu Arjun are contemplating their choices and are looking to kick-start shoot whenever favorable conditions prevail.

The latest update is that Sukumar has decided to shoot the film in Vikarabad forest region, as opposed go his initial idea of erecting special sets in Hyderabad. He feels that shooting in sets will take away the authenticity factor and on top of that, the VFX load will be largely increased if the film is shot in sets. So, he has decided to pick real locations in Vikarabad forest region over sets in Hyderabad.

Vikarabad region is close to Hyderabad and is believed to be an ideal location for the shoot of Pushpa.

Allu Arjun is very much keen on releasing Pushpa by next summer as he feels the holiday season will boost the film’s box office prospects. That, ofcourse, would be possible only if the current situation pertaining to Covid-19 pandemic eases up.
