In a chat show, hosted by Neha Dhupia, the Kabali actress Radhika Apte revealed that doing South films was one of the bizarre jobs she had to do in her initial days as an actress.Neha asked Radhika Apte about the bizarre things that they had to do during their initials days in the film industry.
Radhika said, “I did South Indian films! They pay you really well and you bloody deserve it. It was very hard. (sic)”She was then asked about her opinion on the lack of gender equality in South films.
She replied, “I wouldn’t generalise it. But, the projects that I had worked on, it was. These heroes are extremely powerful and you are called two hours before shoot and are made to wait. You are just treated differently.”The actress has acted in a handful of Tamil and Telugu films, and has also done a Malayalam film.
