It is known that legendary filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, who directed hundreds of films with a phenomenal success rate, is making his acting debut at the age of 78. In his career spanning of 50 years, the veteran filmmakers haven’t come in front of the camera. But, his decision to star in a film has surprised the film fraternity.
We are aware that Tanikella Bharani will be helming the film, which has a total of four female leads. Now, the latest update is that Raghavendra Rao will play a character of his age in the film. His role is said to be filled with comedy and has a big emotional angle to his role. The story of the film is said to be revolving around him.
The film is written by Janardhan Maharshi, and it will star Samantha Akkineni, Shriya Saran and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. It will have the music by MM Keeravani. The makers are planning to start shooting from next month. Meanwhile, Raghavendra Rao is currently busy with the Pelli Sandadi remake.
