Businessman Raj Kundra, who was arrested in a pornography case last year and released on bail, now transferred his assets worth Rs 38.5 crore to his wife, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. He registered his flats and Juhu home on the actress’ name.
As per reports, the transferred ownership includes five flats on the first floor of the Ocean View Building, along with his home in Juhu. It covers an area of 5,995 square feet and has a total value of Rs 38.5 crore.
According to reports on Zapkey.com, the actress paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.9 crore on the transfer deed. The documents were reportedly registered on January 21, 2022. The transfer of property was valued at the current rate of 65,000 per sq ft.
Recently, Raj Kundra was spotted along with Shilpa Shetty at sister-in-law Shamita Shetty’s birthday party. They left the venue together, hand-in-hand.
