Rajamouli is arguably the most gifted filmmaker of the generation. His impeccable ability to envision larger than life projects with commercial appeal. His vision and conception are unmatched. He is probably the only filmmaker in India will a cent percent success rate and that too by working on films that are made on a large scale. His immediate next outing is RRR and the stakes couldn’t have been any higher. The film is doing the highest pre release business for any film in Indian cinema thus far. Close to Rs 900 crores are riding on the project, which marks the coming together of two of Tollywood’s biggest stars, Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Rajamouli has passed strict orders which are to be followed without fail by the lead cast and crew of RRR. He has ordered team RRR not to make any revelations about the film while speaking with the media during the promotional campaigns. He has asked them to refrain the unit from opening up about the story, canvas, or the core plot of the project.
Rajamouli had already revealed that RRR is a fictional tale of two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Even the unit has been promoting the same. Any further revelations about the story or the plot would mean that the whole narrative can be easily guessed by cine enthusiasts. Rajamouli wants to avoid this at all costs. He wants the viewers to experience a marvel while they watch RRR on the big screens. Any unprompted leaks about the film prior to the release can dent the movie watching experience.
So, even when the cast and crew of RRR take part in media interviews, they will not reveal anything about the emotional core of the film. Instead, they will speak at length about the canvas and the scale of the film, as a whole. Rajamouli has also planned a series of offline promotions that are intended to further boost the buzz and expectations surrounding the film. He is planning the promotional campaign of RRR in a meticulous manner.
