Rajamouli is known for pushing the boundaries constantly. He was the one who opened the doors of the pan-Indian market for Telugu films and showcased what the Telugu cinema is capable of with ‘Baahubali’ franchise.
The second part of ‘Baahubali’ earned more than 1500 crores which is a huge feat. He invested around 500 crores for ‘RRR’ now and it is taking the box office by storm.
He cemented his position as the biggest filmmaker in India right now. As we know, he announced his next with superstar Mahesh Babu. Rajamouli will be working on the script once he returns from his vacation.
In the meanwhile, Mahesh will release ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ on 12th May and finish the shooting of Trivikram’s project. The rajamouli-Mahesh film is expected to kickstart in the first half of 2023.
Apparently, the maverick director is planning a stylish action-adventure film with Mahesh. It is expected either to be along the lines of Indiana Jones or The James Bond franchise. The complete details will be coming out in the next couple of months but trusted sources reveal that the budget is expected to be around 800 crores.
Such a high budget can only be recovered by Rajamouli with his fabulous vision and taking. Any producer is ready to invest in a Rajamouli film as they know that they will end up in profits. We need to wait and see what genre Rajamouli finalizes for superstar Mahesh Babu.
