Rajamouli’s upcoming massive multi-starrer with NTR and Ram Charan as the leads is red hot in the trade.
The film has been receiving lucrative offers from the distributors that the makers couldn’t say no to some tempting quotes.
Although Rajamouli wanted to wait until the end of this year to start closing the deals, overseas buyer has come up with an offer that the maverick director had to give in.
According to our source, overseas business of #RRR is closed already. A Dubai based distributor has bought the rights of #RRR (all languages) for a whopping Rs. 66 Crore.
This is more than what Baahubali 2 was sold for. The same distributor has bagged the overseas rights of Saaho for Rs. 42 crore.
This shows the confidence that one has in Rajamouli’s vision. Although Ram Charan and NTR are not known faces in North India, trade is betting big on brand Rajamouli.
#RRR is expected to do around Rs. 200 crore business for its Telugu version alone. Rajamouli’s brand will ensure handsome offers from other languages as well.
