The political crisis that took place in Rajasthan a few days back has been prevailing all these days as the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister of the state has the trouble getting along. Due to his differences with the Chief Minister Mr. Gehlot, the Deputy CM Sachin Pilot has decided to quit the ruling Congress party along with his rebel MLAs.
In the meanwhile, after getting involved into some in vain talks, the Congress high command at the center on Tuesday sacked Sachin Pilot as Deputy Chief Minister and also removed as state Congress chief. Two more ministers who have joined him were also dropped.
“The truth can be harassed but not defeated,” Sachin Pilot reacted in a tweet. In the latest and sensational announcement Sachin cleared out the air that he has no intentions to join the BJP which led to more confusion. If Sachin’s rebellion nature is not a part of the ‘Operation Lotus’, where is this prominent personality heading to?
The Congress has 100 MLAs, the half-way mark in the 200-member assembly. Sachin Pilot has at least 20 MLAs on his side – 17 Congress and three independent legislators. So, if BJP manages to get Sachin on their side, the Rajasthan Congress government will face a disastrous outcome as BJP is well known for this kind of politics as their only aim to colour the entire Indian map with saffron.
