Superstar Rajinikanth’s last film ‘Annaatthe’, which was released for 2021 Diwali, was a big hit in Tamil Nadu and the Siruthai Siva directorial grossed decent numbers at the box office. Since then, the Robo actor hasn’t announced his next project yet.
Now, the latest buzz is that Rajinikanth will be teaming up with director Nelson Dilipkumar for his 169th film, which is tentatively titled “Thalaivar 169”.
As per reports, the film will be backed by a popular Kollywood production. Anirudh Ravichander is approached to score the music for the film. The film is expected to be made in all South Indian languages and Hindi. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
Meanwhile, Nelson Dilipkumar is currently busy with Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast. The film is set to hit the screens on April 14.
