Actress Rakul Preet Singh said Valentine’s Day is a western concept and she doesn’t believe in it.
When asked about her plans for this V-Day, Rakul said, “My family is coming down to Hyderabad and I’m going to watch my movie ‘DEV’ on the release day. This is for the first time, I will be watching my movie with my family on the release day.”
About Valentine’s Day, this ravishing beauty made shocking comments. “Why only one day we should celebrate love? And not the whole year, will the single day be enough to celebrate love and exchange gifts. What about the rest of the 364 days?” questioned Rakul.
She further added that February 14th has been commercialized by people and a lot of money is being spent for shopping and buying gifts, chocolates just to show your feelings towards the other person.
Since the beginning of her career, Rakul has stayed away from affair related controversies but maintained her bond with her co-stars. None expected Rakul to have this strange opinion on Valentine’s Day.
