The upcoming Telugu film “Ram (RAM Rapid Action Mission)” promises a potent blend of patriotism and passion, hitting theaters this Republic Day, January 26th. Marking the directorial debut of Mihiram Vynateyaa, who also contributes to the story, screenplay, and dialogues, this film is a venture of Deepika Entertainment and OSM Vision. While Deepikanjali Vadlamani takes the producer’s mantle, the film introduces Surya Ayyalasomayajula as the lead, paired with Dhanya Balakrishna as the heroine.
Surya Ayyalasomayajula, brimming with excitement ahead of the film’s release, revealed his lifelong passion for cinema. Despite a hiatus following his debut in Teja’s “Keka” due to family circumstances, he persevered, auditioning even during the pandemic, and eventually landing a role in Ram Charan’s “Game Changer.”
Speaking about “Ram,” Surya said, “Mihiram was an assistant on ‘Keka,’ and our familiarity led to this story. We’ve known each other for over a decade, and both our journeys intertwine with this film. Financially, ‘Ram’ faced hurdles, but we overcame them through crowdfunding and support from loved ones.” He further expressed his gratitude to veteran actors like Sai Kumar, Bhanu Chander, and Subhalekha Sudhakar for the unforgettable experience and valuable lessons learned during the collaboration.
Recalling his experience with Ram Charan’s “Game Changer,” Surya expressed, “Auditioning with the co-director’s help was a thrilling experience. Sharing screen space with Ram Charan and working with a legendary director like Shankar early in my career has been truly humbling.”
Fueled by a childhood fascination with action sequences and stunts, Surya Ayyalasomayajula committed to performing his own stunts in “Ram,” even avoiding the use of a stunt double. He sustained injuries during the intense fight scenes but ultimately delivered a commendable action performance.
Surya added, “‘Ram’ reflects contemporary social issues, making it both relevant and informative. We crafted it to appeal to a broad audience through a commercial format while delivering a strong social message. The climax has already drawn tears from viewers at premiere screenings.”
“Ram (RAM Rapid Action Mission)” promises to be a heartfelt and action-packed cinematic experience, fueled by dedication, passion, and a message that resonates with the times. As it gears up for release on Republic Day, audiences can anticipate a film that celebrates patriotism, perseverance, and the triumphs of the human spirit.
