Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma has landed in legal trouble for his upcoming film Disha Encounter which is vaguely based on the tragic Disha incident which happened last year.The high court of Telangana has issued a show cause notice to Ram Gopal Varma after the family members of four alleged 4 accused filed a case against him.
The family members of the 4 people accused of the assault on Disha have mentioned that Ram Gopal Varma is shedding bad light on them.The lawyer representing the family members of the accused said Ram Gopal Varma’s film is putting them under immense mental trauma.
The lawyer argued that Disha Encounter should not be allowed to release in theaters. Varma should now be responding to the show-cause notice.
