Hyderabad, India – September 9, 2024 – In a recent collaboration, Tollywood’s handsome hunk Rana Daggubati and Malayalam dream hero Dulquer Salmaan have joined forces for an intriguing film project. While Dulquer will be the hero in this upcoming venture, Rana will take on the role of producer alongside the “Mahanati” actor.
Adding to the excitement, “Mr. Bachchan” fame Bhagyashri Borse, who gained significant recognition, will be the female lead in this film. National Award-winning actor Samuthirakani is also set to play a key role. The pooja ceremony for the film was recently held at Ramanaidu Studios, with Victory Venkatesh and Suresh Babu in attendance.
The team looked elegant in ethnic outfits at the event. Selvamani Salvaraj is directing the film, titled “Kaantha,” which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films will be bankrolling the project, and details about the technical crew are expected to be revealed soon.
Jhanu will be composing the music, while Dani Sanchez Lopez will serve as the cinematographer. Set against the backdrop of Madras in the 1950s, the film is expected to delve into human connections and the societal shifts that occurred during that era, exploring the impact of historical changes. As the project progresses, audiences eagerly await further updates on this intriguing collaboration with an impressive cast.
