Rana Daggubati’s Virata Parvam 1922 has been on the sets for a long time.
Director Venu Udugula had to shoot exclusive scenes of Sai Pallavi and wait for Rana Daggubati who underwent a surgery for kidney ailment.
By the time Rana is ready and start his work for the film shooting came to a grinding halt due to the lockdown.
Sai Pallavi who is selective with her choices has okayed Venu Udugula’s script in a single sitting.
Rana also is kicked about doing this film that is different from the usual Telugu Cinema stuff. Priyamani has been roped into play a Naxalite character in Virata Parvam.
A film being on the sets for a long time means the production cost spikes up due to the excessive interest rates on the finances. Also, it will be a huge exercise to get the dates of busy heroine like Sai Pallavi again.
Given the current scenario this film is unlikely to release in this year too.
