Rangasthalam First Single is Sweet and Simple

First single from most awaited Rangasthalam movie is here. Entha Sakkagunnave composed and sung by Devi Sri Prasad is a fine folk melody that is in tune with the theme of the film. The song describes the heroine’s (Samantha) beauty in the words of hero (Ram Charan).

Lyricist Chandrabose did a fine job with the beautiful and catchy lyrics while DSP kept it very simple with minimal orchestration. Devi’s rendition is alright but a professional singer would have made it sound better.DSP always stored his best for Sukumar’s films and the first single of Rangasthalam proves it yet again.

The song is very different from DSP’s recent compositions that have become increasingly monotonous. Team Rangasthalam is doing a very good job with the promotions by setting right expectations on the film.Teasers of Ram Charan (Chitti Babu) and Samantha (Rama Lakshmi) were on point about what to expect out of the film. It is a love story set in rural Andhra Pradesh in the eighties.

Ram Charan plays a challenging character of an aggressive rural youth who has hearing problems.
