Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is gearing up for a new collaboration with director Prasanth Varma, who scored blockbuster with HanuMan. A source close to the director revealed to media that Ranveer is interested in working with Prasanth Varma, though the official agreement is pending.
Reportedly, Prasanth Varma has approached Ranveer for a project within his cinematic universe, following the success of HanuMan. While Ranveer’s interest is evident, the finalization is yet to be confirmed. Mythri Movie Makers is expected to produce the film.
Earlier, on the occasion of the Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha ceremony, Prasanth Varma hinted at his next project, “Jai Hanuman.” However, whether Ranveer’s collaboration will be part of this installment remains uncertain.
Prasanth shared his excitement on social media, expressing gratitude for the support received for “HanuMan” and announcing the commencement of pre-production for “Jai Hanuman.”
“HanuMan,” set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, was a box office success, grossing over ₹100 crore worldwide. It featured Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai in key roles, marking the inception of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.
In the meantime, Ranveer is set to appear in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama “Singham Again,” alongside Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Additionally, he has “Don 3,” directed by Farhan Akhtar, in the pipeline.
