Young and talented Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most sought after actresses in Indian cinema now. Following the blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise, the actress has attained the attention of the pan-India audiences.
Now, Rashmika has set her focus on the Hindi market as she wishes to carve a name for herself in the Bollywood film indsutry. The actress spoke at length about the same in her recent interview with a media portal.
Rashmika said “It is true that my image got a bit bigger following the release of Pushpa: The Rise. It has been a pleasurable experience for me personally as a person and as an actress. This film catapulted my image. People are now recognizing me by my name in Pushpa – Sri Valli and I couldn’t have been happier. But I don’t want to be categorized as a North Indian actress or a South Indian actress. I want to be a pan-India actress.”
Rashmika further added that she also wants to try out commercial roles apart from the author backed ones. The actress seen commerical cinema as a medium to connect with the masses which is essential for any actress to have a long run.
Rashmika is now raring to commence shooting for the second installment of Pushpa which will be hitting the floors soon.
The 25 year old Kannada beauty has also acted in straight Hindi films like Goodbye which has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and also Mission Majnu which has Bollywood heartthrob Siddharth Malhotra in the lead role.
Following the success of Pushpa, Rashmika is said to be receiving multiple offers from Bollywood and she is on the verge of setting up a few more exciting Hindi projects in the next few weeks. The actress certainly is going great guns at this point in time.
