Rashmika, the actress who hails from Bangalore, is now in the news with her latest Kannada release “Yajamana” starring Darshan in the main lead.
There were reports that Kannada industry has put an official ban on her after she broke up with Kannada star and director Rakshit Shetty. However, the reports turned out to be false.
She is still getting good offers from Kannada industry though she is more in demand in Tollywood.
The “Geetha Govindam” actress is now looking for strong characters. In a recent media interaction, she said she is tired of playing chic student roles. She wants to be known as an actor with substance.
She says Anushka is her role model in acting and is aiming for movies like “Arundhati” or “Baahubali”. Are filmmakers listening?
