BJP Tamilnadu took a very strange yet admiring initiative by selling Idlis on the name of Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi. In Tamil Nadu’s Salem, Modis Idlis are offered to the public at 4 pieces for Rs.10. This is the initiative that was conceived by BJP propaganda cell state vice president Mahesh.

“Bharath” R Balasubramanian, BJP Tamil Nadu secretary said that the aim is to open 22 shops initially to sell the idlis, and depending on its success, the number of outlets will be increased. “Made with modern kitchen equipment, healthy idlis are offered at 4 pieces for Rs.10 to the people with Sambar by our Lotus hero Mahesh who presents Modi Idli” read a poster.

In Tamilnadu, low priced Idli is being sold frequently and now the savory rice cakes will be modestly priced at Rs 10 per four pieces was named ‘Modi Idlis’ is such a crowd-pulling tactic by the Tamilnadu BJP. However, these idlis are proved to be tasty, healthy, and high economical as well.

There are many people who are selling idli in Tamilnadu at cheaper prices. In May, a man 48-year-old man from Trichy sold one idli for Re 1 to the locals in a bid to make affordable food available to the people living in Venkatachalapuram village who followed Kamalathal, an 80-year-old woman from Tamil Nadu who has been selling idlis for Re 1 for more than two decades now.
