Dil Raju had a strategical plan for Vakeel Saab when he offered a staggering Rs 50 Cr remuneration to Pawan Kalyan who barely needs to give thirty call sheets for the film.
Raju aimed at peak summer release as there are no other biggies lined up during the season. Even generating average word of mouth would have been enough for Vakeel Saab to recover its costs.
However, everything has gone haywire due to the unexpected lockdown and no one has a clue about when this crisis will be over.
Dil Raju is reportedly working on a different strategy to make Vakeel Saab work by cutting down the cost of production.
Initially, director Sriram Venu has written a romance track for Pawan Kalyan, but Raju couldn’t find a suitable female lead to play the part.
So, the ace producer has decided to chop off the romance track, which would cut down a lot of investment and also the working days. It would also help in finishing the film at the earliest after the lockdown is lifted.
