Heroines are of different types. Some play all leading lady roles that come by and some are very particular about the way they choose and pick their roles. Of course, this applies to all artistes.
So, Anupama Parameshwaran who was recently seen in Vunnadi Okate Zindagi is a girl who belongs to the second category.
She was appreciated for her brief role in VOZ, though the film was a flop. Earlier, she caught attention with her brief but important role in Premam.
Later, she acted in A.. Aa, another film in which she was not the main lead. In both films, her characters were different. Apparently, it is important for her to choose interesting characters than playing the main lead time and again.
Recently, when she was approached for a role that was similar to her role in VOZ, she turned it down saying she does not want to repeat the concept. Since the film was with a top hero and since a leading director was handling it, the industry was surprised.
Like all girls who are from other industries, she stuck to her guns and finally got her way.
