Punjabi beauty Mehreen had three back to back hits in Krishnagadi Veerapremagaatha, Mahanubhavudu and Raja The Great.
And thanks to her ‘Mehreen touch’, the makers hoped that C/O Surya will end up being a hit. But looks like her touch has lost its sheen and could not save C/O Surya.
Directed by Suseendran, the film turns into a routine fare, despite having scope for some interesting twists and turns.
Also setting aside the story, direction and how the story progresses, Mehreen’s character does little for the film. There is barely little that she does in the film.
In fact, if the editor had chopped off her entire character, the film will still work. Given that the film falls under the commercial genre, she was placed in the film. Else, she is a total waste to the pace of the script.
She does not have even 2-3 scenes, where she gets to show off her prowess.
In all, thanks to C/O Surya, Mehreen’s career has hit a brake point.
