In fact, after Baahubali, she was considered for quite a few projects, but she lost them all due to her weight issues.
The makers of Sye Raa and Saaho considered Anushka for quite some time, before dropping her and moving on to other heroines.
Even for Baahubali 2, Rajamouli had to use special effects to make her look slim on screen. Apparently, Anushka is one hurt girl now.
So she is on mission weight loss and instead of hitting the gym, Anushka now wants to trust natural methods to lose weight. She will soon be leaving for Kerala for a weight loss programme.
Meanwhile, she has stopped signing new films. Her next big film Bhagmati by UV Creations will be released for Sankranthi.
