It has been a longtime since a Rajasekhar starrer fared well at the box office. He almost ran out of work and many of his films couldn’t even see the light of the day as there were no takers.
At this point, Rajasekhar took a huge risk by doing PSV Garuda Vega, an action thriller directed by Praveen Sattaru.
Rajasekhar and his close associate have spent nearly Rs. 25 crore on Garuda Vega that has been making a lot of buzz on the social media.
Rajasekhar is hoping that this buzz would fetch grand openings for Garuda Vega. But the box office trends aren’t that encouraging as of now. Collections may pick up if the word of mouth is positive.
Along with Garuda Vega, Aadi Saikumar’s Next Nuvve also is releasing today. It is a horror comedy backed up by Allu Aravind camp. Aadi is badly in need of a hit to extend his sinking career.
Nag Ashwin’s socio fantasy film Angel is the other film that is hitting the marquee today. The film is made on a high budget for a lesser known lead actor.
