Ravi Shankar, a well-known name in the Telugu film industry as a dubbing artist and actor, is set to embark on a new chapter in his career as a writer and director. His upcoming venture, ‘Subramanyaa,’ marks the debut of his son, Advay, and is being produced by SG Movie Makers, the production house behind the acclaimed film ‘Guna 369.’
The film, classified as a socio-fantasy adventure, has captivated audiences with its visually stunning pre-look poster released on Dasara last year. The intricately designed settings and the protagonist’s enigmatic stance create an atmosphere of intrigue and anticipation. The film’s story demands high-end VFX, promising a visually captivating experience for viewers. The production team has announced that ‘Subramanyaa’ will be available in premium large format and IMAX theaters, ensuring a truly immersive cinematic experience.
The film’s production is in full swing, with 60% of the shooting already completed. The VFX work is being handled by the renowned Red Chillies studios in Mumbai, with additional work taking place in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai. The technical crew behind ‘Subramanyaa’ includes Vignesh Raj as the cinematographer, Ravi Basrur (known for his work on ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’) as the music composer, Vijay M Kumar as the editor, and Ullas Hydur (of ‘Sapta Sagaradache & Charlie 777’ fame) as the production designer. Maasti has penned the dialogues for the film.
