Renu Desai turned a year older on December 4 and the former model and actress seemed happy as she shared the best gifts she received on the day.
Her children, Akira Nandan and Aadya, had a musical surprise in store for their mother on the special day. Renu shared a video of Aadya adorably playing the Ukulele and singing to her mom. Even fans couldn’t help but comment under the video on how sweet her voice was. What’s more, Akira played his mother’s favourite song, Uyire Uyire, on the piano. Sharing that video too, Renu wrote, “Both my kids are the best gift life gave me. (sic)” She added, “I asked Akira a month ago to learn by favourite song as a birthday gift and I feel this is the best gift I got till now. #WaitForIt. (sic)”
Renu Desai rose to fame when she made her debut in 2000 with the Pawan Kalyan co-starrer Badri. She went on to act in Johnny with him apart from designing costumes for him in Kushi, Johnny, Gudumba Shankar, Balu and Annavaram. After dating, Renu and Pawan had Akira in 2004, tied the knot in 2009 and had Aadya in 2010. However, they filed for divorce in 2011. In 2018, Renu got engaged to an unknown man. She is also soon going to direct a film based on farming.
