The YSRCP government is unable to digest the fact that the ‘Three Capitals’ bill got stuck by the legislative council. Reports are coming from the secretariat sources, the YCP government would be going ahead with its plan to abolish the council without any second thought.
Accordingly, CM Jagan has called for cabinet meeting on Monday morning at camp office. At 9:30 AM, the cabinet meeting is scheduled and a resolution on abolishing the legislative council is likely to be introduced. As Jagan is stubborn, the resolution will get passed easily.
Reacting on these reports, TDP senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said, even if Jagan government passes the resolution, the council can continue until it gets centre, Parliament and President approvals. He questioned why the government is scared to forward the ‘Three Capitals’ bill to the select committee.
