Malkajgiri MP and TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy and Minister from the ruling TRS party, Malla Reddy have waged a war against each other and are breathing fire against each other.
However, the faceoff between the two leaders escalated quickly with them using foul language to target their opponents.
The firebrand leader Revanth Reddy who recently held a two day fast at Muduchintalapally village addressed the media after ending his fasting. He has increased the political heat in Telangana at once.
Coming down severely on Minister Malla Reddy who owns educational institutions, Revanth Reddy termed him half broker and half joker.
These kinds of comments coming from the state chief of a political outfit made everyone wonder including the political observers and analysts.
Revanth Reddy did not stop there. He went on to make allegations against the educational institutions run by Malla Reddy. He had cited the example of Malla Reddy college getting a ban of 5 years by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Malla Reddy had also responded fiercely to Revanth Reddy’s claims. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Malla Reddy dared Revanth to resign from his post. As a bid to show that he is ready for the fight, he had slapped his thighs.
Adding further, Malla Reddy made it clear that he had used foul language to give Revanth Reddy the taste of his style and said he would not take back his words.
He even found fault with the usage of words by Revanth Reddy. How can he use such words while addressing a person who is elder to him.
If he cannot use proper language, I will also do the same. If he uses foul language, I will hit back at him with the same, Malla Reddy said.
The Congress leaders have hit back at Malla Reddy over this and called for a seizure of his house. However, the seizure was busted by the cops on time and the leaders were taken into custody and released later.
Targeting opponents and making allegations against them is ok. But the leaders should make sure that they won’t use any foul language or derogatory language on the public platform.
