Congress firebrand leader Revanth Reddy is all sorts of trouble. After being detained by the cops for shooting with drone, Congress leaders lashed out at Revanth for his act. No leader within Congress is supporting him and in fact most leaders have ganged up against him. Now it’s the turn of his followers.
Ex-follower of Revanth, Balsingh Nayak came down heavily on the Malkajgiri MP. Speaking to the media Balsingh said, “Revanth is not a politician, he is a blackmailer. He indulges in land settlements and blackmails. On the cases filed against him, he will not fight in the court but takes money and drops them in middle. In his last term, despite being an MLA, he constructed a lavish house defying FLT.”
MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy too criticized Revanth. “He needs to behave like a matured politician. He should realize that he is not a hero but like any other Congress leader. During the ‘Chalo Pragathi Bhavan’ he wore a t-shirt and came like a street side activist but not like a congressman,” said Komatireddy.
Further the Munugodu MLA said, “This G.O. of 111 is not a new one and there are many such constructions under the limit. If it is dug, many names would come out and using a drone to capture the farmhouse is a silly act.”
These comments looks like Revanth’s prominence is growing the party and there are reports that the high command can make him PCC chief. In order to restrain the high command from favouring Revanth’s name, leaders have united against him.
