Riteish emotional tweet on his father after brothers winning elections

The late Vilasrao Deshmukh, who was Maharastra’s two-time chief minister between 1999-2003 and 2004-2008, will have his legacy move forward through his two sons. Brothers, Amit Deshmukh and Dhiraj Deshmukh won Latur(city) by 42k+ votes and Latur(rural) by 1+ lakh votes in the recent Maharashtra Assembly.

Vilasrao Deshmukh’s other son-actor, Riteish Deshmukh, took to Twitter to congratulate his brothers and posted an emotional tweet saying -“We did it PAPPA!!! @AmitV_Deshmukh wins Latur (city) by 42000+ votes for the 3rd consecutive time. @MeDeshmukh wins Latur (rural) by 1,20,000 votes. Thank you, people of Latur, for this faith & trust”.

Along with the tweet, Riteish also posted a picture of him dressed in a white kurta-pyjama with his father’s portrait in the backdrop. Another photo shows his brothers campaigning. It is known that Riteish has campaigned for his brothers and Dhiraj won the Latur Rural assembly seat by a margin of 1.21 lakh votes. And their elder brother Amit retained his Latur City seat for a third consecutive time by winning more than 40,000 votes.
