These days, the TDP, the media and others who oppose Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy have one common agenda and that is caste.
Though they try to attribute this caste discrimination or caste feeling to Jagan Mohan Reddy, what they display is their love for TDP and Kamma caste and the hatred for Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Reddy caste.
The open display of the caste loyalties is seen and read in the media that is owned by one caste which opposes the Chief Minister.
The other day when Jagan Mohan Reddy called for a press conference to brief the State’s lockdown till March 31 due to corona, the Chief Minister’s Office had invited a few journalists.
Obviously, like Chandrababu Naidu, the present chief minister is also not entertaining a section of the media and it is an open secret.
As Naidu disallows the Sakshi media, Jagan is also not allowing the yellow media, included Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi groups besides a couple of TV channels.
On Sunday too, the CMO did not invite the yellow media for the press conference. However, Vemuri Radha Krishna seemed to have prepared a set of questions to be posed to Jagan Mohan Reddy at the press conference, if invited. Since he was not invited, RK had written the questions and answers too in his media.
While Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted to brief the media on the state government’s initiatives to combat corona virus, RK and the yellow media had prepared a set of questions to be posed to Jagan.
The first question is “What would have been the situation had the State Election Commissioner (Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar) not postponed the election?”.
The second question was on the 14th Finance Commission funds and the ruling party’s allegation that the SEC and opposition were trying to block the release of funds.
As the Central government had partially released the funds, the yellow media wanted to ask (or rather challenge Jagan) how far he was true in his allegation against the SEC and the opposition?
Even in the corona crisis, RK and the yellow media wanted to ask the questions that would favour the ruling party and the Kamma caste rather than creating awareness among people on the safety measures.
What a fall, RK and the Yellows?`
