Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s letter to the Chief Justice of India did a lot more damage to Jagan, than the subject of his letter – Supreme Court sitting judge NV Ramana.
Jagan’s letter met with a lot of criticism from the judicial community all over the country, and is causing a lot of trouble for the CM – more than expected. Recently, at an online condolence meeting of the late Justice AR Lakshmanan who served as a Judge of the Supreme Court, NV Ramana addressed the letter Jagan wrote to SA Bobde, the CJI.
Ramana said that one should remember Lord Rama for his staunch belief in his values even when he was criticised and put to test. Furthemore, Ramana said that the entire judiciary runs with a sense of commitment, efficiency and fearlessness to the country, and that every member of the judiciary constantly strives to make sure that the values of the judiciary are upheld at all times.
On the other hand, Jagan’s criminal cases have now become public knowledge in the Delhi judiciary circles, which were blind to that fact until now. It is being said that the Delhi circles are surprised by the number of cases that Jagan is involved in, and the investigations that the CBI and ED are conducting in that regard.
In his weekend column, Radha Krishna of Andhrajyothi has written taht Jagan is now suffering in the hole that he dug up for himself, in the form of writing a letter to the CJI, criticising the judiciary and Justice NV Ramana. He also said that Jagan has now lost credibility all over the country, with just one letter – exposing all aspects of his life, in a very unprecedented and unintentional move.
