Director Karuna Kumar made his debut with ‘Palasa 1978’, which received applauds from the audience as well as critics. This film started receiving nothing but appreciations right from its first look poster.
Recently, it was heard that the ace producer Allu Aravind was impressed with the narration of Karuna Kumar in Palasa and he has immediately asked the director to develop a script for Rowdy.
Now, it looks like a forward step has been taken in this development. A source revealed that Karuna Kumar has recently narrated a storyline to Vijay Devarakonda. Rowdy liked the narration of the director and asked him to develop the complete story, revealed a report.
If everything goes well as planned, Geetha Arts will bankroll this film, which will be the third film for Rowdy with the production house. Earlier, Rowdy and Allu Aravind joined hands together for Geetha Govindham and Taxiwala.
When it comes to Karuna Kumar, he had ghost-written films for many blockbusters and some flop films too. He got his first writing credit with Prasanth Varma’s Awe. Moreover, he has written many plays and stories on women empowerment over the years.
His short-film Chembuku Moodindi even won second prize at a contest conducted in 2016 for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
