Gangubai Kathiawadi is taken from a book titled ‘Mafia Queens Of Mumbai’ written by Hussain Zaidi. Produced by Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada, the film showcases the life of Gangubai who starts from being a small-time prostitute at a young age into a strong politician who rules Kamatipura.
