YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju was arrested by the AP CID a few days ago, at his Hyderabad residence, while he was celebrating his birthday with his family members. Post his arrest, the AP CID revealed that the reasons behind arresting RRR. They said that RRR was arrested for his deliberate and continuous bad mouthing and defaming of the YSRCP government and its members in the public eye.
After the completion of his medical examination at the GGH today, RRR was shifted to the Guntur jail. The medical report of RRR, including the injuries that he sustained, was prepared by the Superintendent of GGH. This report has been submitted to the district court as well, but the contents of the report remain a mystery to the public for now.
The district court’s orders were to get RRR tested at GGH first, and then again at Ramesh hospitals, but the AP CID shifted RRR to Guntur jail directly from GGH. It is to be seen what explanation the AP CID will give the district court on this account tomorrow. On the other hand, the district court has granted remand for RRR till the 28th of this month.
