With the Maharashtra government imposing the 50% seating occupancy regulation at cinema halls across the state, the future isn’t all that encouraging for forthcoming pan-India biggies like RRR and Radhe Shyam.
Amidst such a constrained situation, there were reports that team RRR was contemplating the idea of postponing the film’s release to a later date.
But the makers of RRR were quick to shoot down the reports as they confirmed that the film will indeed be releasing on the 7th of January.
The makers unveiled new posters featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, which had the release date imprinted on them. This makes it clear that there is no change in RRR’s release plan.
The inside word is that the makers of RRR are determined to release the film on 7th January, until and unless there is a complete lockdown in India or the entire theatrical industry is shut in the overseas market.
There is no change in RRR’s release plan as of now and the film is indeed on course to hit the marquee on the 7th of January 2022.
