Shraddha Kapoor, after Saaho’s grand release is seen pretty occupied in noble and highly appreciable work. The actress, in spite of enjoying the after-release period of her big-budget film, she is seen on Mumbai roads protesting against cutting nearly 3000 trees in Aarey forest.
Along with Shraddha, stands a huge crowd in support of the environment and the best part is, the pubic did not care about the heavy rains and participated in the protest. The concern was to save Aarey forest and commoners, along with the actress, slammed the government’s decision to allow the massacre of cutting down trees for a metro route.
Shraddha Kapoor participated in a non-violent protest with placards in her hand. Shore wore a white T-shirt that has ‘save Aarey’ written on it. The actress has been highly lauded for her initiative in voicing her thoughts against the destruction. She also went on to educate her fans about the issue behind the protest.
The protest started off when the government has decided to cut off 3000 trees for Mumbai car shed project. The news left many Mumbaikers in shock and hence, stood unanimously on a protest.
