In response to the devastating floods, he pledged Rs 10 lakhs each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of both states, totaling Rs 20 lakhs. Additionally, he donated Rs 5 lakhs to the Amma Foundation and other relief organizations. To demonstrate his commitment, Sai Durgha Tej personally visited Vijayawada to deliver the promised funds.
Following the floods that severely impacted Vijayawada, he visited the Amma Orphanage after offering prayers at the Durga Amma temple. He contributed Rs 2 lakhs to the Amma Foundation and an additional Rs 3 lakhs to other relief organizations. During his visit, he interacted with the elderly residents of the orphanage, showcasing his genuine concern and involvement.
Sai Durgha Tej has a longstanding relationship with the Amma Orphanage. In 2019, on his birthday, he made a heartfelt promise to build a new facility. True to his word, the construction was completed by 2021. Moreover, he adopted the orphanage for nearly three years, covering all costs and making frequent visits to ensure the residents’ well-being.
