The ‘Sairat’ Director Nagraj Manjule and Amitabh Bachchan collaborative ‘Jhund’ is fighting serious legal troubles before it’s OTT release. The legal troubles are all because of the allegations of an Indepet filmmaker from Hyderabad, Nandi Chinni Kumar who has directed few short films and an English feature film titled ‘The Seventh Bowl’ that gave him the mass identity.
This young Director alleged that Nagraj Manjule has lapsed the copyright Act and has even used the life story of Akhilesh Paul in his upcoming film Jhund which is actually based on the life story of Paul’s Coach Vijay Barse.
Kumar has filed case in the High Court of Telangana that gave it’s verdict not to showcase the film on any platform and thus Nagraj Manjule is just fighting it hard by visiting Hyderabad frequently.
Chinni Kumar ended saying that he was supposed to do a multilingual inspirational film ‘Slum Soccer’ on Akhilesh Paul, a soccer player who represented the country in World Cup and before that he struggled to come clean from drug addiction and sorted the help of Soccer game which made him an idol!
