Sajid and family thank the doctors for taking care of Wajid

Bidding adieu to the entire world and his innumerable fans, music composer Wajid Khan breathed his last on June 1 in Mumbai’s Surana Sethia Hospital, Mumbai where he was admitted for kidney-related infection. It left the entire Bollywood in shock on his sudden demise.

Music composer Sajid Khan and his family members on Friday thanked the hospital staff and doctors who took utmost care of his brother Wajid Khan. The music director and his family shared a heart felt statement by saying that their dearest Wajid passed away at the age of 47 due to a cardiac arrest on June 1 at the 00:30 am in Surana Sethi’s hospital. He was admitted for a throat infection after a kidney transplant. They also specifically shared their gratitude towards Dr.Prince Surana who treated Wajid Khan more like a family and took care of him like a brother with his team members. “The entire hospital staff who had been treating Wajid and taking care of him beyond the call of duty and had left no stone unturned for his treatment.” they said.

On Tuesday, a news source had reported that Sajid and Wajid’s mother, Razina Khan tested positive for covid-19. However, the truth is yet to be revealed.

The duo music directors have begun their career with Salman Khan Film “Pyaar kiya tho darna karna kya.” From then they went to compose super hit songs, which topped the charts. Till date, Salman has been kind enough to have the journey and offer the projects to both. After Wajid’s demise, he shared his deepest condolences to Sajid and his family that he will always be remembered for a great personality and the talent that he had.
