If there is any issue in Andhra Pradesh that everyone is talking about and discussing, then it is surely the Cabinet reshuffle. Keeping the equations in mind, 10 members were reportedly retained in the new cabinet and the official statement on retaining the 10 members from the previous cabinet would be out soon.
As 10 members were finalized already, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met the core committee to discuss various issues related to the cabinet on picking the remaining 15 members to fill the vacant positions. This gave birth to many predictions on who might get a spot in the new cabinet.
Now what we hear from the political circles is that the new cabinet will be a mix of old and new faces. The 15 Ministers will be new members, who will get to serve the people in the position of Cabinet Ministers. Several names came into the consideration and the CM will take a final call on this.
With the new districts coming into effect, the core committee is also making sure that the districts get equal representation. The minorities and marginalized castes will be given equal representation in the new cabinet.
A few political sources say that advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy had reportedly confirmed this. Taking them through how the cabinet is ex[pected to be, Sajjala reportedly said that it will see new faces and old faces as well and the equations will be followed.
