Salman’s ‘Bharat’ Hits Century In Just 3 Days

This Eid’s blockbuster by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has earned over Rs 43 crore on the first day and now, it has crossed the coveted Rs 100-crore mark in just three days of the film’s release. The film hits a century in terms of the collection in just a matter of three days.

Bharat is now the biggest opener of Salman’s career and earlier, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had collected Rs 40.35 crore on an opening day. But Bharat is just creating a record in the history, starring Salman and gorgeous Katrina Kaif. On the second day, the film earned Rs 31 crore and Salman thanked his fans for the overwhelming support. Bharat was released across 4,700 screens in India and over 1,300 screens overseas

“Big thank you sabko for giving sabse bada opening mere career ka par what made me the happiest and proudest is ki during a scene in my film jab national anthem is recited everyone stood up as a mark of respect. There could be no bigger respect for our country than this… Jai Hind,” Salman wrote on Twitter.

The film has been released on Eid, June 5. Not only this, but the film also broke the opening day record of Salman’s previous films, Sultan and Ek Tha Tiger, which earned Rs 36.54 crore and Rs 32.93 crore on Day 1, respectively. Talking about the reviews, it has received mixed opinions. But the majority said that Salman Khan is the lifeline of the movie.
