Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce with Naga Chaitanya has come as a huge shock to the fans. They have been having a difficult time accepting the news. Nearly after four years of marriage, the couple announced their separation formally on social media on October 2.
The Family Man 2 actress has now shared a heartfelt post on her Twitter.
“Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions,” Samantha wrote in her post.
“A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me,” she added.
On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the web series The Family Man 2, directed by Raj and DK. She will be next seen Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam.
