Sandalwood drug case: Bangalore City Civil court receives warning letter with detonator

It’s well known that actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani have been detained by the Bangalore City Crime Branch police, which is probing the Sandalwood drugs case. A special court in Bangalore has refused to grant bail to Ragini-Sanjana, who is currently constrained in the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bangalore. However, actress Sanjana has already approached the Karnataka High Court seeking bail.

CCH 36th Court in Bangalore City Civil Court received a parcel cover post from Tumkur district in Karnataka on Monday evening. “Ragini – Sanjana are innocent..Both were unnecessarily arrested and put in jail. Give them both bail immediately or assist in granting the bail”, read the letter from anonymous.

Apart from the warning letter, a detonator was also placed along with it. With this, Judge Seenappa and the lawyers in the court premises moved to a safer place for safety concerns. According to media reports, the bomb disposal squad personnel came to the Bangalore City Civil Court and cut the wires attached to the detonator in the parcel cover.

In the letter they have mentioned about withdrawing DJ Halli Kg Halli brawl case too. Now sending detonators threatening judges caused a stir. The Crime Branch police are investigating the connection between Ragini and Sanjana and the accused who sent the bomb.
