Bollywood senior hero Sanjay Dutt whose image precedes him worked in a Telugu film long back. The ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ hero made a special appearance in Nagarjuna and Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Chandralekha’ which came out way back in 1998. It was a short role and he never came back to Tollywood till date.
But recent reports suggest that the Bollywood hero is all set to make his return to the Telugu film industry once again. As we know, superstar Mahesh Babu has given his nod to star director Trivikram Srinivas’ script. It will be the third film in their combo after ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’ which are fan favorites. The expectations are high on this project and Mahesh will start working on it once he wraps up the work of ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’.
News is that Sanjay Dutt has been approached to play a key role in this film. Trivikram is known for bringing big actors from other languages into his movies which becomes an asset. He brought stars like Upendra, Tabu, Jayaram and others earlier. If things work out as planned, sources claim that Bollywood’s Sanjay Dutt will be marking his return with Trivikram and Mahesh’s film.
