The shooting of Mahesh Babu’s ongoing project Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been halted as 5 crew members have tested positive for Covid, say latest reports.
The unit planned to shoot a chunk of the talkie portion in this schedule but the effect of Covid second wave is taking a toll on the same.
The entire crew was tested for Covid after 5 confirmed cases and the result are awaited.
The shooting will resume only after the remaining unit members including the cast and crew test negative.
Mahesh Babu is planning to complete Sarkaru Vaari Paata by July and then move onto his next Trivikram but he might have to alter his course, owing to the second wave of Covid and the consequent delay in shootings.
The Parasuram directorial is slated for theatrical release next Sankranthi. The film stars Keerthy Suresh in female lead role. Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus Entertainments are producing it.
