The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address the nation at 7:30 pm today, on the eve of new year’s day. Speculations further say Modi will speak on the implementation of demonetization and the decisions to be taken by the union government in new year. At this juncture, entire people of India wish Modi to deliver speech in following way.
“Fellow citizens! Aiming at curbing black money and corruption, I, myself, took an over the board decision of banning high notes like Rs.500 and Rs.1000 and announced the same on November 8. I thought not only the black money was curbed but also my image would grow by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, my attempts went on futile exercise.
Fellow brothers and sisters! I could understand the hardships being faced by you for the past 50 days. But then, I am not in a position to take my decision back. Everything went out of control with my silly decision.
Fellow citizens! In this scenario, opposition political parties demanded me to resign my post. However, I would like to assume the charges until 2019’s elections anyway. As such, I would like to compensate my blunders doing some favour to you. Hereafter, no restrictions on taking your money back from the banks. I don’t impose any more harmful decisions upon you. I admit that my decision led to the deaths of 100+ aged people at ATM queues. I assure the members of their family to deposit Rs.25 lakhs as a compensation for them.
Fellow beings! I would think about bringing back the old Rs.500 notes to check the problem of scarcity of Rs.500 notes. And finally, I apologize the nation for my biggest blunder. I beg all of your pardon!”
