Satya Nadella Honoured With Padma Bhushan in US!

The Padma awards given by the union government are a token of recognition for the valuable contributions the personalities make in their respective fields. Such awards give them the required force to give their best. An Indian-origin person received the third-highest civilian award.

Hyderabad-born Satya Nadella who is serving as the Chief Executive Officer of leading tech giant Microsoft was honoured with the third-highest civilian award Padma Bhushan. India’s Consul General in San Francisco, Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad met Nadella and presented him with the award.

Happy with receiving the award, Satya Nadella thanked the President, Prime Minister, and people of India for the honour. He also said that he is feeling happy to get recognized along with the other extraordinary people. He also said that he would help people across India use technology.

Technology is the need of the hour and technology is the future of the world. Western nations bank heavily on the IT sector and technology. Compared to the west, India is a few steps behind. However, a few metro cities are familiar with the IT sector and have IT zones.

To fill the gap between urban and rural areas in terms of the use of technology, the union government is making some efforts and the government is also pushing for the digital uses of money and e-currency. With Satya Nadella saying he would help people with the use of tech the push would get big support.
