‘Virgo Pictures’ banner is coming up with a new-age romantic comedy as their first production. Harsha Kanumalli is making his debut as a hero in this film with Simran Chowdary who impressed everyone in films like ‘Ham Tum’ and ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ is the heroine. The pooja ceremony was done today and the film’s unit confirmed ‘Sehri’ as the title.
‘Sehri’ means celebration in the Swahili language of Kenya. The word ‘Sehri’ immediately reminds us of the super hit song from Siddharth and Shamili’s ‘Oye’. The ‘Sehri’ song written by Krishna Chaitanya in ‘Oye’ was a memorable hit and it is still in the playlists of many. Now, the makers of this film have taken the ‘Sehri’ word from Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics and titled their film.
The poster has been designed in a colorful manner which represents celebration. A gift box is seen in the middle of the poster and the caption ‘Unboxing Soon’ is written on it. Gnanasagar Dwara, who is an ad film director is holding the megaphone for this feature film while Suresh Sarangam is handling the camera. Prasanth R Vihari is composing the music while Ravi Teja Girijala is editing this rom-com.
Advaya Jishnu Reddy and Shilpa Chowdary are bankrolling this project and the remaining details will be given soon.
